Design Engineer
I am working at the intersection of technology, design, and visual culture. I build applications, interactive experiences, and visually driven digital products based on my art history background.

About Me
I’m a developer, designer, and artist from New York City with backgrounds in computer science and art history. Growing up in such a diverse and visually layered city shaped the way I see people, culture, and design, and encouraged an open-minded approach to both creative and technical work.
My study of art history and my own practice as a painter strongly influence how I approach digital design. I work primarily in watercolor and ink, painting landscapes and architecture, and I also explore digital art [@moominmar.art on Instagram]. Studying style both through practice and through history has given me a deeper understanding of composition, hierarchy, visual language, and atmosphere.
I bring this perspective into web and interface design. Whether I’m building an application, redesigning a website, or experimenting with interaction, I think about both how something works and how it communicates. I see digital interfaces as part of a much longer visual tradition: one where color, form, structure, and storytelling guide how people understand and experience what they see.
Outside of software and painting, I’m a tea enthusiast with interests in interior design, architecture, and the ways physical spaces shape our experience of color, form, and atmosphere.
